The Ministry of Economy of the Slovak Republic has published a call from the Recovery and Resilience Plan to support charging infrastructure. Thanks to this call, cities and municipalities can obtain charging infrastructure free of charge, as the aid intensity is up to 100% of the applicant’s eligible expenditure.
The objective of the call is to build 1 800 AC and 160 DC publicly accessible charging points and EUR 10 236 000 excluding VAT is earmarked for this purpose. Eligible applicants are municipalities and towns with over 7 000 inhabitants and the organisations set up by them, district towns and the organisations set up by them, as well as higher territorial units and the organisations set up by them.
At ejoin, we have many years of experience in building and operating a network of charging stations. Moreover, the charging stations installed by us are from Slovakia, as we develop and manufacture them ourselves in our plant in Dubnica nad Váhom and Žilina.
In previous calls we have been successful with almost 50 municipalities that we provide our services to. We have supplied our charging stations to the successful applicants and have been operating them for several years.
E-mobility is expanding at a rapid pace, and it is thanks to the call from the Recovery Plan that you can extend services to the residents of your town with important charging points for current and future owners of electric vehicles. This is a unique opportunity to get important infrastructure for free. Demand for charging stations will increase over time, and the installation of this infrastructure will become necessary over time.
